By New York - anonymous Tue 08/04/03 14:18:00 GMT Website: www.scifi.com This Friday night at 9 p.m. eastern on the new tv series TREMORS (Sci-Fi Channel), will be a really good wetlook scene. I have a friend who works for Sci-Fi, and she loaned me a tape (not because of the wetlook but because I like sci-fi).
The scene involves creatures called "Assblasters." They track their prey by body heat. To escape from getting killed, you have to hide your body heat. Rosalita, a regular character, jumps in a water trough in jeans, shoes, and white t-shirt (no bra). She hides in there for safety. After the commercial, she storms into the general store to complain. She's standing there in her wet clothes and a nearly see-through wet t-shirt (as much as Sci-Fi could get away with I'm guessing). She's wet on camera for longer than you would expect for a television scene.
The episode title is BLAST FROM THE PAST. It airs this Friday at 9 p.m. eastern time on the Sci-Fi Network and 8 p.m. central. In the west, it's on at 9 p.m. for cable homes, but satellite homes need to check the listings.
In addition to the wetlook scene, the show is fun. If you like the Tremors movies you'll like the series.
Do a lot of writers on this list also like sci-fi? Is there a correlation between sci-fi and wetlook enthusiasm?
