By AnthonyX - anthonyx@jowc.net Tue 20/04/04 16:10:45 GMT Morally? Well...
Perhaps to my previous remark I should add that we can't quite understand how some people have become leaders of our country either.

By AnthonyX - anthonyx@jowc.net Tue 20/04/04 15:38:11 GMT We don't hate you. We just don't always see things in quite the same way you do, and can't quite understand how some people have become leaders of your fine country. |

By Kerry Tiller - kctiller@cox.net Tue 20/04/04 14:40:34 GMT The last time I was in Central Park, there wasn't any fence around the reservoir. I'm just sorry these two canadian "wetties" found out The United States isn't as free as we claim it is. Despite the lofty wording of our base documents (the Constitution and the Bill of Rights) One is still expected to respect physical barriers, like fences. Now they will have to pay for the fence (the Police had to cut it to "rescue" them). Oh well, the Canadians hate us anyway. Kerry Tiller |

By bryce - brycepunk1@earthlink.net Tue 20/04/04 11:49:02 GMT Website: brycepunk1@earthlink.net I happened to see an odd headline in the New York Post this morning and, though I never really read this paper, I picked it up. Figured I'd share this with you.
"Wacky Central Park swim babes busted:
Two overheated young Canadian women had to be dragged out of the Central Park Reservoir by cops yesterday after an illegal plunge to cool off.
As the temperature soared to a sweltering 85 degrees, Deirdre ___, 26 and Annalaise ___, 18 of Niagra Falls, Ontario, scaled the chest-high wrought-iron fence, with spikes on top, that circles the 40 foot deep reservoir and jumped in fully clothed, sources said. A passer-by thought the pair were in trouble and raised the alarm about 1 pm.
They were spotted about 100 yards out from the edge of the East 90th street entrance...
...said the womenappeared to be doing the breast stroke. 'I saw two heads in the water,' he said. 'They were in their shoes, all dressed up."
Cops said the pair, wearing sneakers, long-sleeved T-shirts and jeans, either ignored or did not hear orders to come in.
Specialist Emergency Service Police were then called. They cut the fence, swam in and helped the women out.... Both women were suriprised to be arrested..."
It said some other stuff I don't feel like typing right now. Suppose these girls were two of us?
