Well, it's graduation time for the University of Illinois at Chicago nurses, which means they jump in the campus pool in their uniforms (light blue blouses over dark blue/black trousers, similar to what a waitress might wear). Chicago's ABC affiliate typically (but not always) airs a brief clip of it, which they did last night. Not having had advance warning (I thought they geaduated in early June), I naturally didn't catch it, and was extremely honked off about it, as these clips have been very elusive for me in the past. But I also knew that the station has a 2 hour news broadcast every morning, just before Good Morning America. So I took a chance, set the VCR, and sure enough - not only did they repeat the clip (something they don't always do), they also showed another teaser clip as a preview. So this time there were actually 2 clips, and I got them both! These clips are never very long with no "after" shots, but as they go, these 2 are pretty decent, being slightly longer than usual (which is still not to say all that long), and actually showing them jumping in, something they don't normally show. If you're wondering why this is such a big deal for me, this event is by invitation only, and as noted, these clips have proven to be quite elusive in the past, and, as noted, these 2 are a little better than average, so this is quite a rare catch. Along with the other clip I already had, they'll be on my next cliptape for MK. I'll keep the VCRs rolling when they graduate again in early December.
