Assuming you are using Internet Explorer, go to Tools, Internet Options, Security, click the "custom level" button, scroll down to the "Active Scripting" section (near the bottom) and set it to "Disabled". This switches off Javascript and thus kills all those silly so-called "protection" scripts. On some sites which use Javascript to open new windows with images, you may need to set it to "Prompt", so you can allow it to run on the thumbnail pages but then kill it for the actual image ones. - Renegade 17
