It was shown on the Fox News Channel this morning...some interesting scenes. I am sure they will re-run it during the day....
Interesting but brief clips....I suggest you wait for Brian's next tape to come out in Jan for the full lowdown...I may make some video streams from it if you are interested...Brian is sending the tape to me in the next few weeks and wants me to show you a few clips online.
...and btw...Brian is way ahead of you all here...he has been doing research and finding out all these wetlook events held around the UK...so he and Leonmoomin are "wetlook commandos" who have things all planned out for 2003.
Brian also knows of some great charity/fancy dress river raft and boat scenes with wet scenes that will take place in 2003 too.
As many of you know...tomorrow will see the fancy dress swims at Llannelli and Saundersfoot in Wales...I think Leonmoomin is attending the Saundersfoot event...and nobody is covering "the Walrus Dip" at Llanelli...so get over there if you wish to see it.
Likewise, tomorrow morning...if you live near Edinburgh in Scotland...go see The Loony Dook...see pics here

If you live near Dublin in Ireland...there is a big fancy dress swim in Bray tomorrow too.

In reply to Message (1572) Maldon Mud Race (wetlook too)
By Russ - russ@russ.net Mon 30/12/02 22:56:21 GMT They showed a short clip on our local news this morning of the Maldon Mud Race. The clip was of a few hundred people running into the water. Then they showed them running in the mud. Did anyone video tape any of this last weekend? It's the first weekend after Christmas every year. I found a URL on it http://www.digitalessex.com/events/maldon_mud_race/index.shtml |
