Please be aware that TheMothership.net will be moving its primary database server to a new location at 6:00pm PDT (GMT -8) today. Because the database controls the entire system, all associated sites will need to be shut down for an hour or two.

This move will not directly affect the basic functions of our numerous client websites. All membership areas will continue to function normally and the sites themselves will be operational. This will only affect Mothership DVD, download, and merch stores and new membership signup pages. Because the downloading mechanism relies on the database too, you will not be able to download during this period either.

These sites will be temporarily suspended:

TheWamStore.com

Vidown.com

Vid-mart.com

stuff-mart.com

With any kind of luck, this whole process will only take an hour or so. If things go sideways, it may take a couple. Either way, the primary email system for the Mothership will also be down, so don't bother emailing me to complain. :-D Go watch the Simpsons and down a couple of cold ones and we'll be back as soon as humanly possible.
