I still like the 'water park' at Pier 4 in hamilton Water cannons, jets, etc. and , like most of the public parkettes in town, the water runs late. Good place to end up with a date on a warm afternoon. |

By AnthonyX - anthonyx@jowc.net Thu 07/08/03 13:55:06 GMT I just learned that Toronto has a fountain something along the lines of the Trocadero? in Paris or the Olympic fountains in Atlanta... well... perhaps smaller, but I think you know what I mean.
Anyway... these fountains are part of a public square which was recently completed, however I don't think you're likely strolling through them to cool off (just wish I was wrong). It seems that they have a rather lengthy list of restrictions and regulations regarding use of the square, plus a security presence to enforce them (calling in the cops if necessary). Somehow I think that as soon as anyone comes too close to the water, the rent-a-cops will be there to shoo them away... or call the city cops to arrest them.
