But I held off posting my essay, cos as all these challenges were being posted in the last 3 weeks...more than 10,000 of them with 900 celebs now participating....I started to notice a trend....ie.

...that the richest and most famous celebrities....apparently are not paid enough...cos they seem to have the crappiest cameras and cell phones, and I started to see a trend where 95% of these posings were either

- bad video quality

- bad lighting

- bad editing

- bad camerawork

- bad staging

- dumbed down (the candidate wears shots and a t shirt)

- copouts (wearing goggles or a wetsuit or running away, or the classic Sofia Vergara copout at the Emmys...using fake plastic ice and no water)

and  the few that were staged well, shot well and in good quality....were no more than 5% of them.

So....the good news is, now I changed my mind....and this does not mean an end for the need for Wetlook Producers to exist in future, cos these ice bucket challenges are 95% "Yugos" (as you put it)....and it seems that the Ice Bucket Challenge

will be a passing fad like "The Macarena"  and as hopefully as forgotten as  the "Gangnam Style" craze 2 years ago.

I wonder what the next craze will be.......

I will leave you with a closing thought......I often wondered  what it would bve like to live in an alternate universe where nobody ever used swimsuits and everyday activities like swimming and bathing were always done fully clothed. I have theorized for 25 years about this....and my theory was....if you lived in such a world where you saw your fantasies every day....you would soon be as bored with wetlook as a guy who works in a brewery gets bored with beer...and so you search for something new to interest your pecadillos. Certainly these Ice Bucket Challenges and the Black Tie Beach events have proven my theory (to me at least)....i.e. seeing too much of what you like and overdosing on it, soon gets to be old and boring....and so you start to look for something new to get interested in.
