I think I remember that blog stating the site where the pictures were from and it is his "favorite site for wetlook". I am not trying to defend what was done, but he did give credit to where it was due. Granted videos/photos are purchased to be used privately and not publicly displayed, that was wrong there. I don't recollect anywhere that blog stating it was its personal work.

Of course, I am a strong advocate of copyright protection for the producers who work so hard to provide us their wonderful material....

It is obvious in the first instance that one needs explicit permission from the original producer to reproduce copyrighted material.

What about the case where someone reproduces copyrighted material - but clearly identifies the source of that material.

Is that a copyright infringement? I see from time-to-time some folks are very enthusiastic about posting collections of their personal favourites -their motives likely not to intentionally "steal" material.

I wouldn't mind clarification of the topic. Thanks.
