It is a fairly short scene where she jumps into a sheep dipping tank with the guy. Not very long and doesn't show much. She has on a period gown. Not really very exciting.

The shirt scene from the BBC's 1995 Pride and Prejudice adaptation got mentioned in the TV guide this week. It's no secret that this scene is very popular, but the reason for its popularity isn't ever directly mentioned.

The suggestion always *seems* to be that women liked it, so does that mean that women *do* like men in wet clothes?
