January 6-11 I took another trip to Las Vegas. I stayed at the Longhorn on Boulder Highway because room rates everywhere else were very high due to the Consumer Electronics Show. I lost a total of $75 gambling. The night I arrived I had terrible luck playing $2 blackjack at the longhorn. Time and time again I would have 19 or 20 and the dealer would turn over a likily busting hand, only to draw 21. I lost $60 quickly. I was down abound $150 by the last night, when I had a nice winning session at craps at the Fremont.

Thursday I spent the day with my friend from the Dragon's Lair Project website. We went to Buffet at Asia and pigged out on crab. Then we went to his house to play his Cobra Command and Cliff Hanger arcade machine (emulated, not original laser disc hardware). I got a free burger at Heart Attack Grill Saturday morning. (you get a free burger if you weigh over 350 pounds). Sunday I spent most of the day with my friend again. We went to High Scores LV, an arcade/bar/restaurant where all the games are on free play (food or drink purchase is mandatory).

Now on topic. I went in the Longhorn's hot tub fully clothed twice. Friday night I was wearing jeans and a polo shirt. Sunday night I was wearing dark blue khaki pants and a polo shirt. SO FREAKING WONDERFUL! Both nights I got in the bathtub fully clothed after leaving the hot tub.
