....though what they don't show is the murky blue colour of the bath water afterwards! (or maybe I was buying the wrong brand of jeans.....) Many thanks for all three links.

It is interesting to note that the concept of skinny jeans and shrinking them in the bath is a fad that has been around for over 60 years and dates back to the mid 1950's, though this 1962 film is the earliest known example captured on film.

In the late 1960's Levi's had a special bath in their flagship store in San Francisco where customers could relax and shrink their jeans in the store.

My personal preference is for nonchalant wetlook scenes that are done by people outside of the wetlook culture....cos I don't like to be pandered to, which is how I feel with insider wetlook models, who are basically trying to push my buttons. So I prefer wet;ook scenes and discussions that occur in the mainstream world as opposed to scenes done deliberately for wetlook fetish models.

Here is a wet jeans example of a scene I like......with Anneke Wills (who would later become Dr Who companion Polly) in the bath in her jeans in the 1962 UK film "Some People"......it's nonchalant...not blatant pandering....

The actress makes several references to what looks like a love for wetlook, but the interviewer is not much interested in it, it seems. What about the remark that he has unfortunately not being thrown in a pool in them ? The interviewer should have asked what is the joy of that .... :(
