Your uploads are region-blocked for me. Anyway, I saw the water park ride skit. Also saw a skit last week where she kept getting pied; the premise was that she was one of three contestants on a game show and had continual bad luck - the core of the joke.

Anyway, if this has been a pattern and she's leaving the show, it's likely one or more of:

The producers/writers are having fun at her expense while they can

It's some sort of send-off / hazing (although hazings are usually for the new arrival)

It's an attention-getter to help boost her profile for the next step of her entertainment career

It was a running gag by making hour out to always the one to have such bad luck.

I think you're reading too much into it if you think she or her boyfriend etc. is getting off on the slapstick.
