Hi, thanks for the offer. I don’t really want to cause any trouble or problems. I’m the guy with the African city of Bujumbura in the email address used for subscriptions. But really don’t trouble yourself with offering another version. I already made a tablet friendly version with a conversion tool (which changed the video from 4k to normal HD). I just wanted advice for future 4K to come, not to cause you any trouble or extra work. |

In reply to Message (72523) 4K wetlook on older computers, question and advice
By MikeyABQ - Fri 26/01/18 18:54:18 GMT So I just downloaded my first 4K clip (see below :)) knowing very well that my cheap home not-even-full HD computer will not manage to play it and I will have to view it at work :D. Sure enough, when played on the famed VLC media player it didn't work at all, a few seconds, than stopped and chocked and showed some pixels from time to time. Than I tried the infamous Windows Media Player and... surprise, some how it plays smoothly on a cheap computer with a 720p screen. It seems the Windows Media Player has some feature to drop the quality or something which makes the computer handle it - this was the advice
The question, does anyone know a similar life hack for 4K on normal cheap HQ tablets? I mean a player that will play them and when it comes to tablets also a way to physically move them, as my tablet refuses to accept files over 4GB. Thanks in advance
