Photo quality differed a lot indeed. And yes, when I do come across pictures from way back when I don't even bother saving them anylonger.
Having said that, som of the verbal exchanges on the forums were quite interesting. At least to me. Possibly due to the age old discovery of 'not being alone'. In that respect, another one that popped into my head was 'Darren's something or other' which contained quite a few good threads. When was that? Late '90s I think. |

We idolize those sights as that was our wetlook awakening. But the few wetlook photos from those days that do exist on some photo sites or even later ones from days of very early social media don’t get any interest, as the quality of photos (not to mention videos) back then was, well different. I recently found my old cd-rom with some of my first wetlook saved. Had to go to a shop to get it transferred to a USB drive, as I don’t have any device with a cd-rom player anymore. Looked at the photos once, felt nothing, and through that stuff in some drawer. The quality was like 340x480 or less, whatever it was at the time. You could barely see anything on a modern phone, laptop or ipad. So don’t miss that stuff too much. |
