I can certainly see the argument for it. I suppose it's not all that different from when YouTube became more prominent and slowly shoved some established producers aside. I guess it can also be compared to the Wet T-shirt Contests of old where it was more about seeing wet funbags and the shirt was more a forethought or afterthought depending on your perspective. We're already a rather fringe group - we all know or have that "I'm not alone!" realization at one point or another. Stuff in mainstream productions often doesn't satisfy either, where it's just there, poorly done, or meant to be forgotten about seconds later.

On the random occasion where we do get some brief mainstream notice thanks to some viral fad or meme, there's plenty of disappointing crap that floods in and maybe some nice content before we're back to our usual outlets as everyone else has moved on.

I keep seeing more and more women uploading "wetlook" pictures and clips on other forums that borders on being pornographic in nature, all of them also has a link to their onlyfans account and a promise of nudes either there or soon to be uploaded.

Personally, I feel this is ruining wetlook as it is a way for people with no interest in wet clothes to try and suck money out of people by drowning out actual wetlook content with a flood of low tier trash picturte sets. If i want to look at naked boobs I'll google it. Wetlook prodcutions are already shockingly low with productions looking the same so this kind of mass produced low effort junk in my opinion is doing more harm then good.

Granted, part of my anger comes from the cosplay community I loved being overrun by women posing in underwear, wigs and promising nudes for just 5 bucks per set. It got to the point that the real cosplayers who spent days making costumes fled to other sites to avoid getting stigmatized by the women looking for paypigs.
