I love swimming in a long patchwork boho skirt at my local pool (Fusion), with a flared-sleeve hippie minidress over the top, jewellery, ankle bracelets, and stripy red-and-black tights. I add a belt at the waist to stop the skirt flapping over my head when I do the fly. For lane swims, I usually just wear a tie-dye umbrella dress and flowery leggings (with the hippie minidress). The lifeguards are no problem, in fact they smiled at me the first time I did this, after all, they only want to be sure you can swim in all this wonderful swirly fashionwear without drowning yourself :) Have phun :) |

The tripping hazard when they get wet and stretch aside, the way they cling and the neckline drops…. nothing else like it.
