It's a result of "economies of scale" -- we can't univent the computer, its other advantages outweigh the slight depersonalisation in using it do our drawings for us. Hey, there are even robot women (though I don't know how waterproof they might be) in Japan. Now, the ultimate irony would be a robot woman swirling around in a synthetic-fabric wedding dress in a factory-made jacuzzi, under an artificial waterfall, dancing to electronica while drawing AI artwork on a waterproof tablet :) Are we becoming the Annunaki :) At least she's not programmed to keep borrowing money off me, and to keep creating hollow excuses why she magically doesn't turn up for a swim with me when she promised to, like Soggy Sarah down the road :) Have phun :) |

By Mike - Wed 25/09/24 06:33:27 GMT The fact that you think that AI is an improvement on actual pen and paper drawings tells us everything that we need to know. "The irony that we are automating the production of art instead of the jobs everybody hates shouldn't be lost on us." -I'll leave it at that. |

By Mermaid Wanda - Tue 24/09/24 12:34:04 GMT Website: https://tinyurl.com/janetandjulia Having fun is *never* a waste of time, you may as well have said "in the time I spent in the local public pool swimming in my kaftan and hippie top I could have married and had babies with some random hussy". Now which is the most unusual and spontaneous? AI is a good area of computer science research, helping humans understand how consciousness works, or at least how language represents various qualia. And "wetfeel" is a fun way of directly experiencing those qualia. AI is an improvement on pen-and-paper drawings to evoke those qualia in the imagination, producing naturally-occurring oxytocin, dopamine, and serotonin. To experience pleasurable stimuli we have to experiment. And AI artwork doesn't let you down, break commitments, demand exclusivity, or chicken out of dates :) Have phun :) |

By Mike - Tue 24/09/24 06:19:00 GMT ...you could've found an actual woman to pose for wetlook photos. |
In reply to Message (100285) Want some AI? Course you do :)
By Mermaid Wanda - Mon 23/09/24 01:20:12 GMT Website: https://tinyurl.com/janetandjulia Hiya Wammers :) Just dived in to mention loadsa AI wetlook videos on Janet and Julia's DDG page ( https://tinyurl.com/janetandjulia ). Latest update has Stephanie swimming underwater in a beautiful jewel-covered multilayer ballgown and gold platform heels, and a fur coat, among other things. Although they are AI rendered, if you use the right AI model it really does understand the wetlook and underwaterfashion genre and outputs the proper clothing and textures. Oh, by the way, the original Janet and Julia forum was hit by a virus and went offline a few months ago. Not to worry, there are mini-stories in each of the pictures on DDG. Have phun :) I do (at my local pool : see "About") |
