many thanks for checking with me first ! I'd really rather not have people ranting on here about other forums, people, or producers. It only causes me trouble...

As you've probably gathered from the format/nature of this forum (no login/tracking, completely open etc) I am very much in favour of people being able to post whatever they want, however, that does cause of lot of issues for me. The general rules are here: https://forum.minxmovies.com/rules.html

I've already fallen out with MK (and others) over this, if people criticise other sites/producers, even a little bit, and I leave the posts up, then some people take this as my agreement with the posting. In fact, as you say it is juts 'freedom of expression', BUT, unfortunately, the hoster of the info then takes the flak for it too.

I apologize for this OT question (and THIS is one place i don't want to get banned from) but at some point i REALLY want to vent about Phil the MESSMASTER (over at UMD) but i'm not going to unless it's okay with you. I'd even be willing to type it up and email it to you first (not sure if/when i would get around to that...)

many thanks for your efforts, there was a lot more as well, already dealt with.

The problem is that although it is obvious to us that it is spam, they are using so many different terms and pretty random URLs. The DNS people really need to get on top of this, anyone registering that many websites, which then clearly have complaints, should be blocked, but I guess it's as hard for them as for us.

Anyhow, I've added a huge number of terms and sites to the block list...

If anyone finds themselves inadvertently blocked, then please email me !

The forum over the past week was cluttered with a staggering amount of very obvious spam. After painstakingly deleting all of it, I have written an e-mail to Nigel to check the spam filter settings for the forum.
