Phatdippin? a "rap" video about swimming with your clothes on. The video DOES have people swimming with their clothes on. I recommend you watch it at least ONCE???

It does describe the sport better than the term "wetlook" though, since it is the logical complement of "skinnydipping", when describing swimming in more clothing than deemed necessary for modesty. Welook tends to emphasise the activity of looking wet rather than feeling wet, so is a step removed from the actual experience. Yeah that was one of those very brief phases where we enthusiasts get a splurge of content from casuals before they move on to the next shiny thing.

“Phatdippin” is almost a blast from the past, except that I recently stumbled across where I had bookmarked it years ago. Oddly, it’s filed under YouTube → Music → Other, which is a strange place to keep something that I have no interest in listening to for its musical content.

I guess I never did find out what Phatdippin was all about — probably nothing to do with wetlook. I do wonder what the participants of these activities make of getting wet fully clothed: Phatdippin, that dramatic performance somewhere in the UK (whatever answer I did get got lost, and when I asked again I was just referred back to the message I never received), and those Knox College pyschology classes that take place fully clothed in the pool.

Sticking to technical subjects proves more satisfactory, as the answers are not deeply personal or mysterious, but just cold hard science and engineering, and true from one side of the planet to the other (the laws of physics don’t bend to cultural norms or personal whims).
