I'd like to argue both sides here to be fair.. If shoes are part of the outfit, then they need to get wet !! I would think that's more natural. To some maybe bare feet look better, and a more common practice that some ppl do take their shoes off before going for a clothed swim. And... bare feet and swimsuits are part of a "normal" look on the beaches. Bare feet are so common on the beach that bare feet almost should NOT be a part of wetlook any more than swimsuits should be. I would think that getting wet in bare feet is so ordinary that most should be unfazed by it. On the other hand it's perfectly O K that some prefer bare feet possibly for a more free spirited look, maybe.
If the producers are makin' more of them with shoes,(complete with stockings, pantyhose, socks) then that's a trend that does better justice for the majority of wet fans I think. All of this can get really weird!! (haha) Another uncommon outfit is dressing up jeans outfits with an everyday brand pantyhose, high platforms, TALL STILETTO PUMPS GO WITH JEANS, showing ankles, casual, classy, tasteful, which has always been and continues to be extremely appealing. |

By Luv 'em Barefoot - Sat 10/12/05 10:44:12 GMT Seems like most of the wetlook producers are going with shoes these days, and I'm sure the shoes people don't mind a bit. But no one ever produces a beautiful babe in a dress getting into a pool barefoot! Guess I'm just old fashioned!
