It could be because this forum is seen as an 'Adult'-type site, too. It seems in many cases, such sites automatically gets labelled as (potentially) malicious. |
In reply to Message (51876) Avast rating for wetlook sites - hacked by the troll?
By Mahoney - Wed 21/09/11 14:04:12 GMT Guys, the free anti-virus Avast used by millions of users world wide has this rating system (green or red bars next to the URL - at least in Firefox). This forum and most wetlook sites linked to it (like dipbull.ch), now have red bars - "bad rating (based on a small number of votes). Bad ratings on avast are very uncommon, most sites are good or unrated (the system is quite new, older version of Avast didn't have it). And generally red bars only appear on malicious sites. So this is probably another strange plot by the troll. So normal wetlookers should work in the name of justice and give the sites we like the ratings they deserve. All Avast users please click on the ratings and give good ones, to counter the "small number of votes" that is giving wetlook sites an undeserved bad name. BTW: users of other free and not-free Internet Security programs may also have such a problem, if there is a rating in them - so check if the troll hasn't started his diversion there also... |
