Yes, the gloves are good, I wore them after outside as well.
They are not as soft when I just bought them, but it's not the first time I get them wet. I think the first time they got wet wasn't even for wetlook, I think it was heavy rain.
I am looking for some information about how to treat leather after it gets wet. Maybe even putting creams on it like hand cream can help. There are commercial softeners that are used to soften leather.
It's interesting that in a book by Mary Kay, she says that she bought the formulas for creams from another woman who's father used to work with leather. He used some tanning solutions to soften the leather and his hands became very soft too as a side effect. He put that solution on his face and it helped there too. So his daughter took that concept and tried to make creams like that. |
