LOL Oh my God!!! You think Clinton was good? Name one single thing he actually acconplished in 8 years. Just one. Other than embarassing the heck outta us. Of course, had he kicked Hussain's ass the first time he violated the peace treaty back in the 90s, we wouldn't have to be in Iraq now. I was in Dessert Storm, I saw the miles and miles of oil in the ocean, didn't see a blue sky for the entire time I was there, and watched the flames shooting out of the ground in Kuwait City like a scene from Dantes. Yup, we should have finished the job back then. You folks gotta remember, we in the US have always wanted to be left alone. It was YOUR world wars that YOU dragged us into that now shapes our foreign policy. It's better to stop tyrants while they are still weak, before millions have to die. It's a well know fact that Hitler's general staff would have deposed him for free elections had there been a single French or British soldier in the Rhineland when he violated the peace treaty to occupy it. Hmmmm, mebbe if we actually HOLD people to treaties, we can finally have some peace. |

Sounds like you can't be older than five years. If so, I'd agree. If not, get informed.
Until then, stay wet

By Desert Hawk - Tue 05/07/05 12:22:17 GMT President Bush is the greatest president in my lifetime. His tax cuts have allowed all of us to keep more of what we earn. The economy is moving along great and getting better. We are winning the war on terror. Bush is a great morally upstanding man. Things would be not nearly as good if we had Al Gore or John "the man from Nantucket" Kerry as president. As for the sorryeverybody site, it is a pack of lies. We are not "screwing" the rest of the world. Just because some other countries disagree with the war in Iraq does not mean that we are "screwing" anybody. Anyway, the rest of the world doesn't get to vote in our elections, and we don't get to vote in yours. If other countries want to be more liberal that us, that is their business, but to say that our conservative government is "screwing" the rest opf the world is crazy! |
In reply to Message (16960.2) And we apologize
By Anonymous - Mon 04/07/05 16:08:56 GMT Website: http://www.sorryeverybody.com/ At least half of America (more now, according to polls) wants to apologize to the rest of the world for our ignorant, irresponsible presidential administration. We hope to do better in 2008 if you give us another chance. Check it out: http://www.sorryeverybody.com/ |
