I have one personal request to make of everyone reading this forum:
In addition to sending your good thoguts and hopes towards all who've suffered these disasters, think also of the brave souls - heroes all - who have traveled to these areas to aid in rescue and relief efforts.
Some of my friends are down there now, helping rescue stranded pets, and reuniting them whit thier people. We have given donations of food and funding to eveacuuees relocated up here to Kansas.
Animals have also suffered form this catastrophe, and everyone who is aiding in their rescue and treatment is also doing very heroic work "above and beyond".
