...and when You want to dry them, just put some old newspaper inside, and change it few times, trust me it works, and kills the smell |

By Telcontar - mrnemesis@ntlworld.com Fri 09/02/07 21:22:27 GMT How many girls/women do you see walking about in hats and gloves and wearing jewellery? It will never be 100% of them at any time of the year in any country. In the winter in Russia you'll probably get close to 100% on the hats and gloves part, but when I was out in the snow yesterday taking photos, a group of older girls and women were out walking the dog with no hats on. Snow and no hat leads to wet hair. Not drenched, but satisfactorily wet. Certain incidents in the past lead me to typically avoid pictures of anyone directly, so no photo for you (I am the camera nazi).
Wetlook to me doesn't have a strict, rigidly enforced definition. I love wet hair, so wet hair and a swimsuit is nice. I do dislike clothes over the top of a swimsuit -- that spoils it. These albums of people getting their clothed swimming badge who wear a swimsuit under their clothes look so horrible. It's fake, like they don't want to do it so they pretend they aren't, and won't properly feel the clothes against them. It also affects transparency and cling -- they make sure they can't accidentally look good ;-)
I only ask that it's genuine. But I don't mandate shoes, and certainly don't mandate that they wear clothes that they'd not be wearing otherwise! For me, the idea is that a girl might want to, or happen to get wet in whatever she's wearing right now -- unplanned, unstaged, no careful selection. You certainly won't get hot wearing a hat and gloves into the sea in the summer, but you'd look and feel very silly wearing them on the street in the hot sun!
Jewellery, ball gowns, wedding dresses and so forth will have their advantages if you fantasise over getting wet at posh occasions. I have no interest in expense or fancy does, plain old casual and comfortable clothes are fine, as those are what any girl would be wearing if she was with me and wanted, or happened, to get wet.
Shoes, probably, but since they take forever to dry and they stink, and can be damaged, I am OK with them being removed. The world has far too many needy people for it to be acceptable to wantonly destroy things, and I don't really want smelly damp shoes for days :) I think I did ruin a pair of good black leather shoes by repeatedly soaking them, but I didn't feel too bad because they were falling apart anyway! They were many years old and coming through in holes. Time to get a new pair ;) |

In reply to Message (27364) Real wetlook includes shoes!
By Aqua55 - 0733314051@euromail.se Fri 09/02/07 15:17:39 GMT Everyday I get so disapointed about those "wet girls" whit flip-flops or barefoot. Real wetlook includes real shoes! Dont You agree?
