...thats a valid point with those games that involve being punched, blasted or pulverized.....but many of the games are merely falling into water after spinning off a turntable or bouncing off a foam cushioned ball....
...and why do you need to wear a crash helmet on the gameshow "Hole in the Wall"....cos "the wall" is made of POLYSTYRENE....and I am no physics professor but I don't think anybody ever got killed when coming into contact with polystyrene....ha ha
You can now perhaps see why the Aussies make jokes about American football being a game for wusses cos of all the protective gear they wear....while Australian rules football and rugby is a game for real men who play a much tougher game without much protections.
But one must remember.....people do not design gameshows in order to please fetishists like us.....they just design gameshows in order to get RATINGS and that gets them advertising dollars.
All I am saying is.....it is an undeniable fact that asian gameshows have something that we do not get in European or American gameshows....i.e. they are "sexy" too....and in this politically correct era we live in...most European and American gameshows are not "sexy" any more (with the notable exception of Italy....cos the Italians are the kings when it comes to putting on sexy gameshows....and that may be because the founder of the largest TV network in Italy that has all the sexiest shows....also happens to be somebody who has an eye for the ladies....i.e. he is the Italian prime minister too....cos he founded the Mediaset Network that is probably the sexiest tv channel in the world). In the USA gameshows have been "dumbed down" to remove anything that might be too sexy etc.
All I am saying is.......gameshows in the USA are not sexy and are just made to be gender-neutral and politically correct, and that is really boring to most fetish fans....and if you want to see the sexiest gameshows....watch Italian, Japanese or Argentinian TV.....cos none of those countries believe in political correctness...and they just do whatever they think is wacky and sexy.

FYI I have collected scenes from many different countries who have done the "Wipe Out" and "Hole in the Wall" shows in their countries....and there is a definite correlation between the per capita statistics on how many lawyers exist in certain countries, and how lousy things are made for us viz the excessive use of helmets, life jackets, knee pads, arm pads and boring clothings et al.
Basically, the ONLY countries that have great versions of Wipe Out and Hole in the Wall....all seem to be countries in Asia (especially Mainland China, Taiwan and the Philippines)...where they play the games in fancy dress costumes without all the protective paraphenalia. There are well over 1000 times LESS lawyers per capita in Asia as there are in Europe and the USA.....hence why all western versions of Wipe Out and Hole in the Wall suck.
It was Shakespeare who said it best in Henry VI part 2....."The first thing we do, let's kill all the lawyers" cos these days every tv company in the western world gets sued over very minor things. McDonalds gets sued if their coffee is too hot...and they cannot win cos if it was not hot enough then somebody else would sue them for their coffee not being hot enough either.
The mainland China version of Wipeout is really nice....nice clothes and no helmets or life jackets....cos they do not have millions of lawyers lawsuits in that country.
Look at how the USA and UK have changed in the last 30 years....i.e. 30 years ago you had UK gameshows like "It's a Knockout" and American gameshows like "Battle of the Network Stars"....and they all had loads of water games in pools back in those days too...and there were no life jackets or helmets in those days....cos water is basically water and polystyrene props and cushions are still no different today as they were 30 years ago.....so we have become a nation of wimps now....tks to the litigious society we have become.
Anyway....for ANTHONYX.......I see that Canada has just started their first season of Total WipeOut Canada.......is that any better than the UK or U.S. versions....or still the same tired old story of t shirts and shorts with helmets and life jackets.
