Here are a few observations on some producers I'll offer in the hope it helps you as you develop your site and product.

I first discovered the existence of production WAM about 1995. At the time, video was sold on tape (analog); technical quality was limited because of the available technology and cost (as MK described), and there weren't all that many producers out there, so anything you could find was a good thing. Even so, the different producers still had their own distinctive styles, which led me to prefer some over others. Today, the level of technology and technical quality has improved so much at a consumer price point that, as MK says, an iPhone can produce a superior video picture to the best of pro analog gear from the mid 1990s. What hasn't changed is "the person behind the camera", and that is the difference between an attractive product and just another video.

There are some models I enjoy watching more than others. Physical beauty is always good, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. A model I might find appealing might be uninteresting to someone else. But perhaps more important than physical beauty is the "presence" and persona. If she's just there for the modeling fee, it almost always shows through, and detracts from the result; on the other hand, if she's really having fun, it provides a much more entertaining result. It also helps if a girl in a pool is a confident, capable swimmer and not at or beyond the limits of her comfort or ability, because that shows as well. Some of the first videos I bought back in the mid/late 90s were from MK and featured models like "Micki" and "Keeley" who I found most attractive, and Jo Bache who appeared to be right at home in and under the water. I believe that "getting it right" starts with finding/choosing the right models.

Costuming seems to be the one aspect where everyone has their own specific preference. I happen to be quite intrigued by your focus, but there will be plenty of folks who will ask for anything and everything other than what you want to do. Stick with what appeals to you; again, what makes you happiest will show through in the result and will earn you loyal repeat customers. Take Stormy Waters' photography as an example. He does it for his own pleasure and (1) look at the amazing results, and (2) look at the fan base he has attracted.

The scenario and action in a scene - fully clothed throughout, partial strip, or clothed-to-nude are again things which different people will ask for. Again, stick with what you enjoy doing most; it will come through and earn loyal fans.

How you sell your finished product is an important consideration too. I like some of the ALLWAM material, but I've never subscribed because I only find scenes here and there of interest. I've been buying EuroWAM lately. They have content which appeals to me, there are some nice models, and I think they have one of the best pricing models I've seen: non-subscription price per scene, with a substantial discount available via subscription.

Bottom line: don't try to please everyone, because it will be impossible. Don't try to accomodate specific requests, unless you're in need of ideas and the requests are in line with your own interests. If you try to cater to anyone outside of your own interest, you'll never know if anyone will like it. As long as you enjoy the result, you will find an audience, so just do what you will most enjoy, and bear in mind that how you sell can be as important as what you sell.

Happy New Year to all!! Myself and others are looking to start a site in the near future (again! lol) and I am asking for opinions. We believe that WAM consists of a woman (in our case) that is fully clothed as if she were going to work, or shopping, on a dinner date, or just doing everyday tasks around the home. There will be no nudity as this isn't considered WAM to us - although there may be sheer-when-wet clothing. Can I get some feedback on this please. I would really like to hear from the big guys as well due to your experience and longevity in this community (ie Erik, Nigel, MK, Leon and Lisa, etc... btw, you guys rock!)
