By soggybottom - Mon 11/06/12 11:56:57 GMT I love Celtic Women. They are fantastic. But, how did they end up on this wetlook site? Is it wishful thinking? That would be fun, CW on a wet stage. |
In reply to Message (54594) OT: Celtic Woman - Great music from Ireland!
By lover of female wetlook - nc-schraehe@netcologne.de Mon 11/06/12 10:06:11 GMT Hello friends,
last night I listened to the concert of Celtic Woman at the Lanxess Arena in Cologne. It was absolutely outstanding! Lisa Lambe, Chloe Agnew, Susan McFadden (singers) and Máiréad Nesbitt (fiddler) did a really great performance, accompanied by some great musicians. It is really worth to see and hear them! For all those, who have not heard of them yet, a little impression of what I talk about:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l9rfjbIHDgM&feature=related
It is a recording from the USA, in which CW perform their own version of Rod Stewart's famous "Sailing". The woman in front is still Lisa Kelly, who has been replaced by Susan now, because Lisa became mother again. They also sing tradtional irish songs (i.e. Dúlamán or Danny Boy), own composings and also music from movies and musicals (i.e. The moon's a harsh mistress). By the way, my favourite girl is Lisa Lambe with the lovely red hair.
Enjoy and kindest regards
Hendrik
