I like the shine effect. That tends to show up best with darker colors, and also if the stockings/pantyhose are not too sheer. Hosiery that seems almost invisible dry, or disappears when wet, it doesn't really interest me. Can't say the same about other clothing items... a top which clings and goes see-through when wet is always "interesting" because it reveals something you wouldn't otherwise see. Sheer stockings aren't revealing anything "interesting" because a bare leg hasn't been a big deal since... Victorian(?) times. But, the "shininess" does a couple of things... says "I'm wet", and accentuates the shape, which I think adds to sexiness.

I just interviewed a person (crossdresser) on wearing ultra-sheer hosiery, like 8 den or so. She loves it because she says that she dares people to notice if she is even wearing it.

This got me thinking about wetlook. If I wear ultra-sheer and it gets wet, it will become completely invisible. At least that's what happens if I wear some kind of light coloured pantyhose. So is that considered sexy or not if you can't even notice that a woman is wearing pantyhose when she is enjoying wetlook?

I would like to hear your opinion. Would you rather go for opaque pantyhose that will be noticed or would that excite you to watch ultra sheer pantyhose "disappear" when wet?
