Been there....done that......see this clip I made from a shoot I did way back in 1994
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qzHWeA0YZ1g
Now, at that time, we only had 8 girls jumping in the pool. Since then....both Leon and Flaviu have easily beaten me there.....cos the most amount of girls I even filmed at one of my parties was the 12 girl pool party I shot in 1995. Leon has had lots more girls at his pool parties and Flaviu has had 16 girls at his pool parties....but I do not recall either Leon or Flaviu specifically getting them to all jump into the pool at the same time.....
This latest trend or record seems to be like Deja Vu to me.....i.e. didn't we all see this trend come and go about 5 years ago.....when some bozo college students decided to invent a craze called "Phat Dippin'"......cos that trend came and went 5 years ago.....so now it seems silly to try and resurrect an out of date trend that was already done before......cos just type Phat Dippin into Youtube and you can see hundreds of old clips of that silly trend.
BTW....as Waterspaniel will tell you....the idea of many people all jumping into the pool fully clothed at the same time....that is a common tradition at many colleges and universities around the world....and one of the best used to be the Nursing Students tradition at UIC in Chicago where all the nursing students jump into the pool on graduation day......that event used to be awesome in the 1970s....cos in those days the nurses all wore their sexy white nurse uniforms.....but these days it really sucks....cos the girls all wear ugly scubs now as they jump in the pool....
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QQTr_GanlPc
I can show you many examples where colleges around the world have mass pool jumps on graduation day....especially those from South America.....they will all beat this record.....see here...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u6SkNGDHW50
Just type this search term into Youtube and you can find hundreds of these mass pool jumps....
Terceirão na piscina. or Pulo na piscina.
..so I do not see how anybody can break this record in the USA...cos they do these mass pool jumps all the time at most South American colleges with many more people....

I 100% agree with you - but wouldn't that be interesting if you would upload one of your larger pool-party-jump pics as kind of breaking and hopefully see how they will break it back?

By MK - wamtec@comcast.net Sun 08/12/13 22:09:47 GMT Whatever they do it is not likely to come close to the world record for most amount of wetlook people at the same time.....cos that record is surely held by the Thai people and all the foreign tourists who attend the water festival every April....cos work the math....
- Thailand has a population of 67 million people - At least one third of the Thai people absolute HATE songkran and they and do their best to avoid it (they leave town when all the tourists arrive) - Probably another third of the population attend the water festival, but manage to stay dry.
So that leaves around one third of the population plus several hundred thousand foreign toursts all getting wet during the Songkran festival....i.e. at least 20 million wetlook people at the same time every April 12th to 15th.
Chances of seeing decent wetlook after shots in Thailand = 100%
Changes of seeing decently filmed after shots in good lighting from this pool jumping record = I give it a 10% chance...with a high probability for bad lightling, bad camera work, low quality video and no after shots.

By AnthonyX - anthonyx@jowc.net Sun 08/12/13 21:06:20 GMT Seems to me the unofficial record is already much higher than that. I think there have been videos circulated (Youtubes?) of at least a couple of dozen fully-clothed people lined up along a pool, and doing a synchronized jump. |
