Sharing copyrighted material isn't just about making money from other people's work, it denies producers the finances that we depend on to continue. Most wetlook producers aren't making money hand-over-fist and are lucky to earn just enough to pay for the expenses of making the material in the first place. If everyone is sharing the material, the producers aren't going to make money and will stop producing
Most producers aren't charging much for their material. Support your favorite sites by buying what they have to offer
One final thing. There are some people out there who like to use images on their own blogs or other photo sharing sites, most producers are fine with this so long as they were originally offered as free samples . But please, do not remove the watermarks or copyright from the images. This is also an infringement of copyright. The watermark and copyright is there to identify the images and they are also used as advertisement for the producers, so please do not remove the watermark from images.
Sincerely EdR |

By Chris B. - WAM Photography - chris@wetandmessyphotography.com Mon 14/03/16 12:26:48 GMT Website: https://www.wetandmessyphotography.com// http://www.wetandmessyphotography.com/ So then ... How would you describe the term "sharing copyrighted material privately"?
As X_Wet_X pointed out, he might refer to the law in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, that allows private copies of copyrighted material for private use. But in all those countries the law prohibits handing those copies to third parties no matter if commercial or not. So there is no such thing as "legal private sharing" of copyrighted material. Case closed :) |

By Anonymous - Sat 12/03/16 15:30:01 GMT Sharing copyrighted material privately without commercial gains (making money from it), is permitted in many countries of the world and does not count as copyright infringement. Else you wouldn't be allowed to borrow a CD from a friend or record a movie on TV. |
In reply to Message (66819) Someone wants pictures which are copyrighted...what the fuck???
By youngwetfan - youngwetfan@gmx.net Sat 12/03/16 14:00:54 GMT I just posted as a reminder for myself (and the forum) I've found old wetlook pictures. Now someone ask for it "for a friend" via email. No nice speech, no offer for this...and intentionally breaking the laws about copyright, becuase he asks for pictures of Eric Elsas...what do those people think? I know, I post clips on youtube from movies and tv-shows, but all those videos were shown on the web for free and I always link the artist, the copyright-holder or or commercial site to get the whole movie/show and so on...
I just posted that on the forum because it sucks that some "wetlooker" think our community is a big self service store...
