The purists don't like it because it's supposed to be more about the wet outfits (where more is more before it becomes too much), and in some instances it starts to resemble more standard/mainstream activity - naked in the shower is like a bikini in the pool as far as wetlookers are concerned. The non-purists are OK with it because wet clothes are at least involved, even if they don't remain the central focus the whole time. And the porn fans are OK with it because yay nudity.

Variety is good, though I do see the potential slippery slope some are concerned over (the transition from wetlook to full on mainstream porn). Time (and probably sales) will be the only thing that validates or debunks those concerns.
