I saw this US film on TV in 1994:
a couple was living (?) in an abandoned building where a monster was also living in the basement the female protagonist wearing tight jeans (and having a gorgeous ass) was dunked in the fully flooded basement (then, she was killed by the monster) for years, I could have been sworn that this has been Stephen King's "Night Shift" BUT: it seems that it hasn't been any ideas about this?
