Many years ago (like in the late 50s or early 60s) I remember watching a movie where the two leads, a man a a woman came to an island to explore. As I recall (could have some details distorted) they SCUBA dove to the island and entered it via an underwater cave. They changed into clothes (unbelievably the woman wore a skirt) and the spent an uneventful night. The next morning they awoke and were about to start their day when the realized a tribe of island natives were almost upon them and fearing the worst they took evasive action and ended up slithering through a muddy field and getting completely messed. They manged to evade the natives and came upon a small pool of clear water and decided to bath in it only to be attacked by leeches. Eventually they were forced to flee the island and escaped via the underwater cave back to their boat and left. The muddy scene and first wetlook scene were quite good (again as memory serves) but unfortunately the final scene was like all too many Hollywood "wetlook" scenes in that they were barely damp upon climbing aboard the boat.

I don't remember any of the actors but I want to say that John Agar may have had the lead (but that's just a guess). Do you (or anyone reading this) know the name of this movie?
