Patreon is a joke, you sign up with PayPal but you will not be charged until the 1st dday next month. So sign up get all stuff and cancel subscription. No money to creators, but hey maybe them like the site.

If you have visited this forum in recent weeks-months you may have noticed this recent trend where many amateur or even some professional wetlook sites set up a Patreon page wher they promise exclusive Patreon content.

While I am not against financially supporting the producers I like, I think Patreon is not the way forward.

To put it simply - compared to site memberships, the exclusive Patreon is mostly a letdown - very few exclusive photos/videos, far between. Only Wanderland offers something unique - a girl getting wet live on Youtube, but even with this offering I was left with a feeling that I do not get a great bang for my buck.

And most of the time you do not even have an idea what is inside the Patreon page as you cannot see any previews without being a patreon - on the contrary, on membership sites you have preview pictures or videos, you know exactly what you are buying

And as Patreon shows the number of patreons, sometimes I wonder if it is even worth the hassle for the producers themselves.

What do you think, do I see it correctly, or am I mistaken?
