Yes. For mw topaz video enhancer ai is the best. The site you posted is slightly outdated. A lot of improvement has happened over the last months.
Indeed it works and gives more detail and sharpness to the video source. The are amazing comparisons by users on youtube. Just check it out. Sometimes it depends a bit on the input material and the model chosen (you need to fiddle around a bit which Model works best) but usually you can get at lest one quality jump (eg sd to hd or hd to 4k) and it looks stunning. However, you do need a good win on mac machine, strong cpu and gpu. Upscaling an hour long video on a good hardware takes like a night and a bit. Btw there also is a topaz software for pics.... |

By Tony - Sat 23/01/21 05:49:23 GMT Has anyone tried to use new AI based video enhancers to old wetlook films? I mean something like the ones mentioned here: https://topten.ai/video-enhancer-review/ Some of the older movies have been made with a lot of love, but usually suffer from low bitrates and resolutions. These are supposed to be able to upsample them to HD quality, but I have no idea if it really works. Might be an idea to producers as well to polish their older collections to meet the modern standards. |
