I go a little further than that. Many young women are seeking engagement in social media using wet clothes as bait. Tik Tok even has thousands of videos like this.

Then you start following the young woman because she wet your jeans, 3 months from now, instead of her profile, there is a company selling you some fancy product

Social networking today is worth money, and oh, it's even worth being a wetlook model for a few hours.

As for the cell phone issue, here in Brazil I see the opposite, just follow some hashtags like #banhodechuva in the summer period here, and you will be impressed.

The phenomenon is the opposite... the cell phone and clothes wet from the rain are the perfect environment for women to sensualize, because outside the context of rain,

swimming pool or river, it would be very artificial and forced. I believe the covid 19, yes, has been a factor in reducing people getting wet in fountains or being thrown into a cold pool by friends.

Just of one of the questions we should ask ourselves. Whenever there is candid content I see creepy comments of people who think they have the the right to comment on clothes choice etc. It seems our wetlook loving folks do not seem to understand anymore the difference between random candid content of people who are not in wetlook and commercial productions. So I guess "producers" of candid wetlook are scared of us. And there are other platforms now used by young people, tik tok by example, or instagram. And probably they prefer to post only for their friends instead of expose themselves to the eyes of the world.

Secondly there might be a lot of reasons for young people not to get wet anymore spontaneously. It has been discussed before.v Everyone carries expensive cell phones by example. They simply cannot become wet anymore.

There's a bunch of new producers making videos lately, but they're often overexposed, shot with an amateur camera, pixelated, and so on.

Not to mention the fact that models barely get wet, usually often just dipping into the water then walking, and that's where the video ends. Oh, and the videos last for barely 3-5 minutes.

I want to see full on swimming, for at least 10 minutes...
