Wetlook World Forum

I don’t ever recall a time when there was any kind of real discussion here. The forum software doesn’t help, as there is no “off topic” section, and topics are not returned to the top when posts are added. The lack of categorisation means that topics are buried fast. Even then, within the “time limit” that each topic is endowed, there is scope for more discussion than we see here.

Yet, what is there to really say? Wetlook is, from my perspective, a “doing” subject rather than a “describing” subject. As a man, I could not share photos even if I wanted to, because the interest on the part of women for wet men is minimal at best; I did post some photos of me on the other forum, but those are long since deleted, and garnered no interest while they were up. The nature of fetishes is such that most of us don’t make our identity public, and we are too far-flung to just meet up and get wet together. Not that we necessarily would, as I am sure that many, like me, would only want to do that with a member of the opposite sex!

My main hobby by comparison is one that I can share publicly without shame, and back when I was active on forums related to that subject, I posted under my real name publicly (I got fed up with the community and left, and now work on it independently). Although being spread out around the world remains a hindrance, talking to people from far-away countries brings just as many benefits as it does drawbacks, while here it just reminds you that you’re alone.

As for getting wet … I tend not to, these days. The shower is too cramped, too lonely … I did have a soak in a local river while out on a walk a couple of weeks ago, but even that was kind of disappointing: the rivers around here are very shallow, and getting wet alone, whether in the rain or in a river, is still a lonely affair.
