Wetlooker.com is in the worst situation probably, as the site is I think Russian based, but most models are from Belarus and Ukraine. So in a very ironic twist, Dima might not be able to pay his Ukrainian models due to sanctions on Russia. Sadly, it’s always the little people that pay the price for war, sanctions etc. some of my favorite models on his site are from Ukraine, and areas that are sadly closer and closer to the frontline if not on it, so I hope the models managed to head for Poland or Ro,ania, or are safe at home at least.

WamInStyle and WetFoto are Ukrainian.

WetlookBiz, and a number of U!D based pages seem to be from the region.

Also Wetlook Miss Viki, with the YouTube content might be from one of the three countries, sadly most likely Ukraine but I might be mistaking.

So basically it seems all in the region need support, as even those ran by Russians higher Ukrainian models, as pre war the three countries (Ukraine, Belarus, Russia) where very close when it comes to economic and personal ties.

On a personal note, basically my all time favorite wetlook model is a girl that had like 30 or so sets on the Wetlooker site is based (per area where photos are made, I recognized the beach from better times when, parts of Ukraine meant cheap fun vacations) in Southern Ukraine. I hope she is based rather near the beach as that place for now has received very little attacks, but if she lives in the interior or further east… well I can’t stop thinking if she is fine…

I've noticed fewer wetlook postings here as well as elsewhere. Wetlooker (Dima) hasn't posted anything new all day.

The US freeze on Russian banking may also impact Russian producers.

Hate to ask but which frequent producers are Ukrainian and which are Russian?

First and foremost, I want to send warm wishes for peace and good health those directly impacted by current events in Russia and Ukraine, the invasion and the economic effects of it. We know it affects Dima and Tonya from Wetlooker.com, Tanya from WamInStyle.com, and Viktor from Wetfoto.com, along with all of their models, photographers, production teams, web teams and their families. In addition, there are others from that part of the world that contribute much to our community that may also be impacted: the Wetlook.biz team and Wetlook Elena also come to mind. Some of their work looks to be set in places similar to the others mentioned, which makes me think they may also be impacted by this. I've been a long time supporter of wetlook and many of these sites, though I don't post much here, preferring to stay in the background.

I will continue to support these sites as much as is possible, and would encourage those reading this to do so as well. Hopefully, the financial support reaches them, though some of the financial news indicates that they may be cut off, which is concerning, since many of the folks listed above depend on our support for their livelihood, or at least to contribute to it.

At the risk of sounding selfish, if Russia were to isolate itself from the world community, it may cut our friends off from our support, as well as cut us off from their contributions. I can't speak for everybody, but I have to believe that given the volume and quality of their contributions that many of us will be continuing to do what we can to support and be their to welcome them back should economic isolation actually happen. I, for one, am hoping that doesn't happen, though already, I know that at least one website has stated, understandably, that they won't be posting new material until further notice. We wish you well as you fight the good fight.

Thank you for all that you do for us and we're hoping for a return to normalcy sooner rather than later.
