In the last few years only a few videos surfaced. And one photographer who made fantastic series of images during a lot of these ceremonies obviously retired dissapointedly because of too few acceptance or praise of his good work.

But since 2020 there have not been many gautsch-ceremonies because of the corona pendemia. Maybe there will be more again in the future.

In the years 2005 to 2007, great reportages on the subject of Gautschen (couching) were produced from Germany. These were full-blown bathing parties with a 2.5 x 6m bathing trough. Not only did all the new printers have to go to the baptism, no, quite a few involuntary ones also had to go into the water. It was a lot of fun.

A big praise to the person who always filmed this.

(Much better than all Youtube together)

Has he not made any records since then? I would be happy to see more films.
