It could be the book from David Wilkey from Bath England. I know he had a book published but I can't remember the name of it, it might be Wet Girls. He was quite active in the early wetlook scene before the internet days. His photos were often in Bill Shipley's Splosh magazine and I believe he worked on a number of videos as well.

Graham the owner of this forum could probably give you more information. There might be copies of the book available somewhere.

Hi, I have a memory of a book my brother had, back in the 70s, which probably greatly influenced my obsession with wetlook. I used to sneak a look at it as often as I could, when he wasn't around!! Sadly he has now passed away, so I can't ask him about it.

It was a paperback, and had lots of photos, mainly in black and white I think, of women in various outfits, but all soaking wet, in the sea and rivers etc. The text was trying to explain the theory behind the obsession with wet clothing.....to be honest I was more interested in the photos!!

My problem is I can't remember clearly what the title was.....it was something like Wet Women or Wet Girls, or Women/Girls Wearing Wet Clothes, or perhaps Why Women Wear Wet Clothes........something like that!! I was only about 13 or 14 at the time, so the book probably came out in the late 60s or early 70s. I've tried lots of internet searches, with no success......so......can anyone help me please? Does anyone recognize the book I've described, or have a copy I could purchase? I'd love to see it again. Thanks.
