For me, it's entirely the Forbidden Fruit Effect. I wasn't allowed to get wet when I was a kid. That was one of the most important rules when I was growing so I was trained to see it as something exciting and rebellious. Every rainy summer day when I wasn't allowed outside, I looked out the window with envy at the other kids jumping in puddles. On summer nights, it was always time for me to come inside before the sprinklers in the park rose. I looked out the window with envy at the other kids playing in the sprinklers. I sometimes struggle with the idea that logically, wet clothes is something unimportant and trivial. It shouldn't be that important. My grandmother is the one who enforced that rule with an iron fist until she moved into her own apartment when I was 13 years old. The paradox is that I criticized her for making something so trivial and unimportant into such a huge deal while now, that I'm an adult, wet clothes is one of the building blocks of my relationship. Traditions with my wife include Hot Tub Tuesdays and the annual Polar Plunge. We haven't done either this year because she's pregnant, which coincidentally involved her taking a shower and pulling me into the shower with her while we both were still wearing some of our clothes.

Looking at other people? The feeling of feeling the water through your clothes? Doing things in them that you don't normally do?

Sex? If possible. A T-shirt is not a hindrance to touching nipples, wet even better. So is sucking yarn. :-)

It is a fetish for many individuals. Maybe I can say that most people here think it's good to do something in clothes that you don't normally do. Bathing in clothes, showering, swimming.

Maybe a wellness day in clothes, sauna, whirlpool, etc.

If the women also enjoy it. Let jeans and other clothes dry on the body in the warmth (sun).

Take photos of them , wet, one hour later, again one later. Dried on the body. Of course, only when it is very hot.

If it's over 30 degrees, you can tolerate e.g. jeans and a turtleneck jumper by refreshing them with water. Jeans are dry again within 2 to 3 hours in the sun.
