Although I feel sympathy for the aim of sparing energy:

1. In general, removing all material from before 2018 is impossible for obvious reasons. It would impair governments, business and science alike, and cut us off from our history

2. Specific, for this wetlook forum: Since mostly links and small texts are published here, which take up minimal space on a server, just a tiny amount of energy could be spared. Not worth the effort.

I will make a proposal to "purge" the servers to save energy.

So I am going to propose that we delete on most servers, including that of this forum, data older than 2018.
