Hi again ncGreg -- great to see you back again! :) How's things? The J&J forum misses you :) Regarding models, if their clothes-buying habits are anything like mine, and some of the girls I know, they have rooms full of outfits they've never worn or forgot they had and bought twice, so swimming in it, gunging it, than cutting it up is a fun way of getting rid of it, given that the council no longer recycles clothing, and charity shops can't cope with a lot of stuff...

Each producer PROBABLY has a different answer to this question...

MOST producers PROBABLY provide clothes/shoes for their models to wear. Amateur producers (like a husband & wife) will probably be the situation MOST likely for the model to use her own clothes/shoes! (many models get paid, and MIGHT use some of their own wardrobe if it will survive the photoshoot)

Then there are "custom" videos where a customer specifies clothing/shoes and what should happen (ripping? scissoring? etc) and usually the price of clothes/shoes is included in the final payment!

And a few times there are spontaneous soakings... where the model is cleaned up and changed into her outfit to go home, but the temptation is too great and she (at least) soaks her outfit, and then has to go home wearing those wet clothes!

Maybe it was asked before, but do wetlook models use their own clothes and shoes sometimes or are they provided by the producer? Do producers have a budget for clothes?

If the models use their own clothes/shoes, does it happen that the clothes/shoes do not survive the photoshoot? Are the models then compensated for the loss?

I am curious especially because I often see some wet clothes cutting-destruction videos, mostly on Wetlooker and I am curious if it is a way for models to get rid of their old clothes or they just buy them in charity shops.
